News, notes and observations from Tuesday\u2019s next to last training camp practice, which featured early interceptions by Quinn Ewers and Malik Willis, the first two 11-on-11 catches by Chris Bell since returning from his knee injury, and more good work from bubble players Jackson Woodard and Keith Cooper Jr.:<\/p>\n
The Miami Dolphins\u2018 offense struggled Tuesday as quarterback Malik Willis had one of his roughest practices and the offensive line struggled with pass protection. The Dolphins did intrasquad 1 on 1s for one of the few times in training camp and 2-on-2 drills, the latter being offensive line vs. defensive line, for the first time in training camp Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Such was the case Monday afternoon when Miami Heat lifer Udonis Haslem came to the Baptist Health Training Facility to speak to his hometown team. Miami Dolphins second-year defensive tackle Kenneth Grant still needs more time to recover from an injury that\u2019s been keeping him sidelined in training camp. \u201cKenneth will not be around this week,\u201d Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley said ahead of the team\u2019s Tuesday practice. \u201cI would say doubtful for the following week. I would say he\u2019s week to week.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dolphins rookie linebacker Trey Moore will undergo surgery on his injured left ankle and will be out for an extended period. \u201cHopefully he will be back at some point this season, but it will be awhile,\u201d coach Jeff Hafley said before Tuesday\u2019s next-to-last practice of training camp.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s see, the rebuilding Miami Dolphins have Tutu, Malik, The Frenchman, Jalen, another Jalen, A.J., Theo, a London native and four rookies, including a Will. And most would say that there\u2019s no way this collection of Dolphins pass catchers \u2014 wide receivers Tutu Atwell and Malik Washington, tight end Greg Dulcich, wide receivers Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Reagor, A.J. Henning and Theo Wease Jr., tight end Seydou Traore, rookie wide receivers Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, Kevin Coleman Jr., and rookie tight end Will Kacmarek \u2014 will amount to much more than the worst group in the NFL.<\/p>\n
