{"id":381746,"date":"2026-08-26T16:32:42","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T16:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/381746\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T16:32:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T16:32:42","slug":"live-at-dead-bobs-will-bring-late-night-food-and-live-music-to-downtown-largo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/381746\/","title":{"rendered":"Live at Dead Bob\u2019s will bring late-night food and live music to downtown Largo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deadbobsstpete.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dead Bob\u2019s<\/a> is heading to Largo with a new name, an outdoor stage, and the late-night hours that helped make the St. Pete neighborhood bar a local favorite.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Owner Ben Scherlis plans to open Live at Dead Bob\u2019s in 2027 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downtownlargo.com\/projects\/horizonwestbay.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Horizon West Bay<\/a>, Largo\u2019s new $80 million mixed-use development at 440 West Bay Drive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The development occupies the northern 400 block of West Bay Drive and combines Largo\u2019s new City Hall with retail and restaurant space, public gathering areas, an outdoor plaza and stage, and a parking garage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The 2,072-square-foot Live at Dead Bob\u2019s will occupy a space in the parking garage building beside the outdoor stage and public plaza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">It will be the fourth Dead Bob\u2019s-branded location, joining Dead Bob\u2019s in west St. Pete, Dead Bob\u2019s Too in Tampa, and <a href=\"https:\/\/stpeterising.com\/home\/dead-bobs-waterfront-kitchen-will-soon-open-inside-of-the-elks-lodge-in-madeira-beach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dead Bob\u2019s Waterfront Kitchen<\/a> inside the Elks Lodge in Madeira Beach. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Scherlis and his partners also operate <a href=\"https:\/\/stpeterising.com\/home\/bobs-side-piece-quietly-opens-in-former-dead-bobs-space-in-west-st-pete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bob\u2019s Side Piece<\/a>, which opened earlier this year in Dead Bob\u2019s original west St. Pete home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The Largo location will share the same casual, open-air feel as its sister bars, with indoor and outdoor seating, TVs for sports, affordable drinks, burgers, wings, daily specials, and late-night food. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dead Bob\u2019s is heading to Largo with a new name, an outdoor stage, and the late-night hours that&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":381747,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[202,204,203,199,201,200],"class_list":["post-381746","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-st-petersburg","tag-st-pete","tag-st-pete-headlines","tag-st-pete-news","tag-st-petersburg","tag-st-petersburg-headlines","tag-st-petersburg-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/381746","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=381746"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/381746\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/381747"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=381746"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=381746"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=381746"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
