Orlando man federally indicted for armed bank robbery and firearm possession<\/p>\n

An Orlando man has been federally indicted on several charges stemming from his alleged involvement in an armed bank robbery in Altamonte Springs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n

The charges include bank robbery, brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime, and possessing a firearm as a prohibited person. <\/p>\n

According to court documents, Cobb robbed a bank in Altamonte Springs at gunpoint in February earlier this year.<\/p>\n

He allegedly entered the bank wearing a mask and dark-colored clothing, jumped over the teller counter, and brandished a dark-colored pistol at one of the bank tellers. <\/p>\n

Cobb is accused of pointing a firearm at another teller and directing her to open her drawer, and taking approximately $277 before fleeing the scene. <\/p>\n

A follow-up investigation by law enforcement identified Cobb as the suspect. <\/p>\n
