{"id":382433,"date":"2026-08-27T09:12:24","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/382433\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T09:12:24","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:12:24","slug":"nutcracker-tale-hits-25th-year-with-live-orchestra-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/382433\/","title":{"rendered":"Nutcracker tale hits 25th year with live orchestra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 Central Florida Ballet will celebrate the 25th anniversary of \u201cA Christmas Nutcracker Tale\u201d with live orchestral accompaniment for the first time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras\u2019 Symphonic Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky\u2019s score under the direction of Music Director Charles Watford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The collaboration will bring more than 200 dancers and musicians to the stage, along with professional ballet artists from companies around the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThis partnership brings together professional ballet stars, local dancers and musicians to create something truly special,\u201d Central Florida Ballet Artistic Director Vladimir Bykov said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The performances also coincide with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras\u2019 70th season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cA Christmas Nutcracker Tale\u201d features colorful costumes, aerial ballet and pyrotechnics as part of its reimagining of the holiday classic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20 at Steinmetz Hall inside the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralfloridaballet.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here for tickets and additional information.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
