Pine Hills, FL \u2013 For Bessie Williams, the people who keep her air conditioning running have become a lot more than just the company she calls when something breaks.<\/p>\n
Her relationship with Crystal Air goes back about 20 years, starting when the company installed the A\/C system at her Pine Hills home.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when she first met Jose, it was Jose\u2019s father who helped take care of Williams and her home. Over the years, that relationship continued with the next generation of the family.<\/p>\n
So when Williams\u2019 aging air conditioning system stopped working in March, the team at Crystal Air knew exactly who they were helping.<\/p>\n
They had already been out to Williams\u2019 home twice trying to get the system back up and running, but after about two decades of service, it was becoming clear the unit had reached the end of its life.<\/p>\n
Replacing an air conditioning system can cost thousands of dollars, an expense Williams was not prepared to take on.<\/p>\n
But after years of knowing Williams and servicing her home, the team at Crystal Air decided they could not let their longtime customer continue suffering through the Central Florida heat.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe is just so sweet. We couldn\u2019t let her suffer anymore,\u201d Jose said.<\/p>\n
Crystal Air stepped in to provide Williams with a new air conditioning system.<\/p>\n
The company also called on a longtime industry relationship of its own for help. Carlos Plua of HVAC Pro Blue Prints has worked with the Crystal Air team for more than 10 years. He joined the effort and donated his time to help install Williams\u2019 new unit.<\/p>\n

Now, after months without reliable air conditioning, Bessie has a brand new system.<\/p>\n
And after 20 years with the old one, there is just one question left.<\/p>\n
