Corgi reunited with owner after tornado in Port St. Lucie<\/p>\n

Six-year-old Luna is back safe with her owner after an EF-0 tornado struck Port St. Lucie on Sunday. <\/p>\n

The corgi went missing in the Bay St. Lucie community after the force of the tornado pushed Molly Wing-Berman\u2019s front door open. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was locked. It blew it open. Made a big hole in the wall. Took all the mail, all of the stuff on the surfaces, went out the back door, which was also locked, and put it in the pool,\u201d Berman said. <\/p>\n

As the tornado approached, Berman had already gone to her laundry room for safety with her 2-year-old rescue dog, Enzo. She tried to bring Luna along, but when the pup didn\u2019t respond or follow, Berman thought she was in her usual hiding spot under the bed. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was in a panic,\u201d Berman said. \u201cWe looked for her everywhere. We couldn\u2019t find her. My daughter came over, and we looked all over the house for her. We looked all over the yard for her.\u201d <\/p>\n

Neighbors eventually found Luna three streets away. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe was shaking all over and hasn\u2019t really left my side since,\u201d Berman said. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if Luna, like other items in Berman\u2019s home, was picked up by the power of the tornado or if she ran out after being spooked by the storm. <\/p>\n

\u201cPoor baby,\u201d Berman said. \u201cShe\u2019s been sleeping very close to me.\u201d <\/p>\n
