Central Florida rain chances expected to rise ahead of weekend races<\/p>\n

Rainfall coverage is expected to increase in Central Florida during the late afternoon and early evening on Friday. <\/p>\n

Temperatures will reach the mid-to-low 90s this afternoon, but they are expected to drop to the low 90s through the weekend as rainfall coverage remains elevated.<\/p>\n

Race weekend forecast<\/p>\n

Heavy rain is expected around 5 p.m. Friday, shortly before the Winn-Dixie 250. The forecast shows conditions improving, with rain possibly moving out by race time.<\/p>\n

For Saturday\u2019s Coke Zero Sugar 400, storms are expected to push inland, which could lead to more favorable conditions for the race.<\/p>\n
