(WSVN) &#8211; Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport held its fifth annual job fair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hundreds of employment opportunities were available at Friday morning\u2019s event, from front-line to senior staff positions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organizers said they aimed to fill important spots in the aviation industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe recent issues with [temporary protected status] \u2014 you know, losing up to 132 jobs, whether in janitorial or in concession \u2014 this is an opportunity for those employers to fill those spots,\u201d said Broward County Commisioner Alexandra P.
