ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 Tonight, hundreds of horror fans will line up at Universal Orlando for the opening night of the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights.<\/p>\n
Universal Orlando will celebrate with ten horror houses, four scare zones and plenty of scares throughout the event.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event marks 35 years of screams, with previews taking place throughout the week leading up to tonight\u2019s public opening.<\/p>\n
The anniversary house will feature two horror icons: Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat coming together of these two icons, not as friends, but as convenience, is bringing the infernal carnival of nightmares to life,\u201d said Lora Sauls, Universal Orlando\u2019s assistant director of creative development. \u201cAnd if you take the first letter of each one of those words, it spells icons. And they are including different icons from our history, different icons from our past.\u201d<\/p>\n
For music fans, one of the houses will focus on Ozzy Osbourne.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gothic tones and textures are just incredible. Hearing his solo career, music throughout the house is so incredible. Working with the Osborn family was just incredible,\u201d Sauls said.<\/p>\n
Other house themes include Stranger Things, Sinners, Hellraiser, and Evil Dead Burn. <\/p>\n
The event will also have five original haunted houses:INVASION: Alien AbductionH.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!\u00a0MADLANDS: Caged CannibalsCybergoria\u00a0<\/p>\n
Halloween Horror Nights begins Friday night and will run on select nights through Nov. 1.<\/p>\n
