TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida A&M University is set to host its first home game of the season on Saturday, and students, alumni, and fans are eager to show their Rattler pride.<\/p>\n
The Rattlers will face off against Albany State, led by their new head coach Quinn Gray.<\/p>\n
While the Rattlers aren\u2019t eligible for postseason games this year, that has not stopped alumni from showing their support. <\/p>\n
Alumni Bobby and Irene Calhoun have been season ticket holders for over 50 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe come win or lose, continuously,\u201d the couple said.<\/p>\n

This support is what inspires current students to attend the games and keep the Rattler spirit alive.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s my senior year, so these would be the last football games that I would go to as a student. I might as well go and show my support,\u201d Elijah Lott, a current FAMU student said. \u201cI know some of the players. I might as well go, show my support, be a Rattler.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vendors are already setting up outside of the area and students are laying out their outfits in preparation for the game Saturday.<\/p>\n
The match kicks off at 7 p.m. at Bragg Memorial Stadium. <\/p>\n
