(WFLA) \u2014 A fire broke out at the Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The yacht club is located on the southern end of Davis Islands, near the Peter O&#8217;Knight Airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As Eagle 8 flew over the fire, the mast of the burning boat, the Onde d&#8217;Arengto, appeared to collapse onto a neighboring vessel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Firefighters arrived shortly afterward and put out the blaze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Tampa Fire Rescue is on scene of a boat fire at the Davis Islands Yacht Club involving two vessels,&#8221; Tampa Fire Rescue wrote on social media. &#8220;The fire has been extinguished. No one was aboard either vessel, and no injuries have been reported at this time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This is a developing story.
