Their ride left them with both a favorable review and a broader argument that transit must be part of Tampa’s next stage of growth.<\/p>\n

Their on-camera reaction was upbeat, and one had the self-described “hot take” that the city’s public buses work well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One creator declared: “This bus has been comfortable. I felt safe, it’s clean, air conditioned, it’s been extremely efficient.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The two creators reached that conclusion after using a video to try out Tampa’s buses for themselves rather than relying on the criticism in the comments.<\/p>\n

They framed the case for buses in two directions. In the caption, they argued that each additional rider takes a car off the road, easing traffic and freeing parking. On-screen, they also highlighted what riders gain personally, like time to “hang out with your friends,” “read a book,” or “answer emails on your phone.”<\/p>\n

Still, the post’s comment section showed why the topic remains divisive. One commenter suggested that “it’s not that the bus is dirty or unsafe its that it takes a hour for the next bus and everything in tampa is 5 miles apart and its 1000\u00b0 outside.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
