\nDuring our visit, we found out that 3D printing is huge this year, showcasing the latest techniques.
\nThe people behind these exhibits are known as \u201cMakers,\u201d and they give guests a chance to discover new interests. Ian Cole is one of the Maker Faire Orlando founders. \u201cIf you don\u2019t necessarily know what you\u2019re into yet, you\u2019re going to see something here that sparks your imagination,\u201d he told me. \u201cAnd once you have that spark, you can actually talk to people who do that and you can learn how to get started.\u201d
\nPassion projects are peppered all throughout the Central Florida Fairgrounds, and most of it is indoors. Star Wars, rockets, cosplay, #D sneakers, figurines \u2013 S.T.E.A.M is on full display.
