(WCTV) &#8211; An 18-year-old is behind bars in connection with a sexual battery investigation involving a minor, according to the Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office (LCSO). <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"An 18-year-old is behind bars in connection with a sexual battery investigation involving a...\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/KYBHWYMF4JD3FIUOM2PYZJRIDA.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>An 18-year-old is behind bars in connection with a sexual battery investigation involving a minor, according to the Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office (LCSO).(Leon County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities said Jesiel Rodriguez Martnez was charged with sexual battery involving a victim under the age of 12.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There were reportedly allegations that Martnez \u201cforced or enticed the child to engage in sexual activity,\u201d which led to an investigation. Investigators found that Martnez did engage in sexual activity with a juvenile starting in July this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An arrest warrant was then obtained, and the United States Marshals located Martnez.
