{"id":385235,"date":"2026-08-30T11:48:49","date_gmt":"2026-08-30T11:48:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/385235\/"},"modified":"2026-08-30T11:48:49","modified_gmt":"2026-08-30T11:48:49","slug":"jacksonville-man-facing-multiple-child-exploitation-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/385235\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacksonville man facing multiple child exploitation charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JACKSONVILLE, N.C. \u2014 A Jacksonville man is behind bars without bond after police arrested him on 16 child exploitation charges.<\/p>\n<p>The Jacksonville Police Department arrested 45-year-old Nicholas Paul Brackett on Wednesday, Aug. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Court records show Brackett is charged with 16 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Six counts are listed in one set of warrants, while another set lists 10 additional counts.<\/p>\n<p>The warrants allege Brackett possessed material depicting an unknown prepubescent child engaged in sexual activity. Court records say the alleged offenses happened in April 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Brackett is being held at the Onslow County Jail without bond.
