The 26/27 school year’s field trip dates are:

• Tuesday, Feb. 2: Elementary school

• Tuesday, Feb. 9: Middle school

The experience is intended to spark curiosity, build civic understanding and show young residents how local government impacts their daily lives.

To ensure fairness and access for all interested groups, a new sign‑up process has been implemented to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate.

How to sign up

Teachers and group leaders are encouraged to plan ahead. The deadline to submit a request is Oct. 31. Space is limited, and early coordination helps ensure the best experience for students. Groups also are responsible for arranging their own transportation and food.
