<\/a><\/p>\nDavis-Winn is the No. 218 overall player nationally and the No. 25 offensive tackle per the 247Sports composite rankings. They also have the 6-foot-8, 270-pounder ranked as the No. 8 prospect in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
His visit allowed him to spend significant time with offensive line coach Herb Hand as well as assistant offensive line coach Manrey Saint-Amour. Davis-Winn dove into what he discussed with them during his time in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n
“We had a really good conversation,” Davis-Winn said. “They asked about my game Friday against (Richland, N.J.) St. Augustine Prep and we talked about how it went and some things that could’ve been better.<\/p>\n
“We also talked about FSU, the offensive line, and the direction the program is headed. I liked that the conversation wasn’t just recruiting. It was also about football and development.”<\/p>\n
The Seminoles didn’t offer Davis-Winn until June, but the fact that they were able to get him on campus shortly after and make him want to take a return visit is a great sign. Now, they just need to keep winning games as well to make him even more interested in the program.<\/p>\n
