The 2026 Southwest Florida Agricultural Exposition (SWFL Ag Expo) raised funds to support educational scholarships for 4-H and FFA senior youth participants.<\/p>\n
The scholarships were open to any senior youth ages 14-18 who participated as a livestock or creative living exhibitor at the SWFL Ag Expo.<\/p>\n
The scholarships are intended to assist recipients in pursuing future educational opportunities.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s scholarship winners are:<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 SWFL 4-H\/FFA Agricultural Expo Senior Scholarship ($1,000)<\/p>\n
Criteria: Open to any senior division youth who exhibited<\/p>\n
Recipient: Whitney Taylor of Punta Gorda<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 SWFL 4-H\/FFA Extension Food Systems Scholarship ($500)<\/p>\n
Criteria: Open to any senior division youth who exhibited a market swine or steer<\/p>\n
Recipient: Isabella Garcia of Fort Myers<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 SWFL 4-H\/FFA Leadership Scholarship ($500)<\/p>\n
Criteria: Open to any senior division youth who exhibited<\/p>\n
Recipient: Cheyenne Coleman of Alva<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 SWFL 4-H\/FFA Exemplary Citizenship Scholarship ($700)<\/p>\n
Criteria: Open to any senior division youth who exhibited<\/p>\n
Recipient: Alexa Zellman, of Fort Myer<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 SWFL 4-H\/FFA Mike Green-well Graduating Senior Scholarship ($1,200)<\/p>\n
Criteria: Open only to graduating FFA and 4-H senior youth who participated<\/p>\n
Recipient: Kamilliah Rice of North Fort Myers<\/p>\n
The scholarships underscore the commitment of the Lee County Board of County Commissioners and UF\/IFAS Extension Lee County to support youth development and the future of agriculture in Southwest Florida.<\/p>\n
The 2027 Southwest Florida Agricultural Exposition will take place from Feb. 25 through March 7.<\/p>\n
