(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; Northbound morning traffic on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge was closed for a time Monday morning when a van caught fire on the bridge, the Florida Highway Patrol said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Troopers and fire crews responded shortly before 9:30 a.m. The vehicle, a Verizon work van, caught fire near mile marker 11. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Due to extensive smoke, northbound traffic had to be shut down. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No injuries were reported.
