ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 The Orlando Pride has parted ways with head coach Seb Hines<\/a>, the club announced Monday.<\/p>\n

The move is effective immediately. Assistant coach Yolanda Thomas has been named interim head coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to express our gratitude to Seb for the dedication, leadership and professionalism he brought to the Club during his time with us,\u201d Orlando Pride Vice President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Caitlin Carducci said.<\/p>\n

Carducci said the club decided a leadership change was needed as it looks toward its long-term vision and future goals.<\/p>\n

Thomas has served as an assistant coach with the Pride since joining the club ahead of the 2023 season. She also served as head coach for the U-23 U.S. Women\u2019s Youth National Team during two camps in 2025.<\/p>\n

Before joining Orlando, Thomas coached Tulsa Soccer Club and Fortuna Tulsa of the Women\u2019s Premier Soccer League.<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper coach Paul Crichton is also leaving the club alongside Hines. Crichton joined the Pride coaching staff before the 2023 season.<\/p>\n
