ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 Central Florida is in for another wet and stormy day on Tuesday as high humidity and abundant moisture fuel showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

A few storms could become strong, bringing gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph, frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall. <\/p>\n

Downpours could lead to pockets of flooding, especially in areas that see repeated rounds of rain.<\/p>\n

Unlike a typical summer pattern, some showers and storms could also move onshore during the overnight and early morning hours. We\u2019ve already seen some of that activity again Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

Despite all the rain, it will remain hot and muggy. <\/p>\n

Afternoon temperatures will generally stay in the 80s, while heat indices could climb into the triple digits.<\/p>\n

This unsettled pattern is expected to stick around throughout the week, with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n
