CLAY COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 The Clay County Sheriff\u2019s Office assisted in taking a vehicular homicide suspect wanted out of Duval County into custody on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Clay Sheriff Michelle Cook said the U.S. Marshals and the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office asked for CCSO\u2019s assistance in the SWAT call, as the Marshals had tracked him to a home on Vineyard Lane in Oakleaf Plantation.<\/p>\n
>>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<<<\/a><\/p>\n The man was also wanted on violation of probation, Cook said in a Facebook Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n Deputies worked with the Marshals and JSO to \u201cencourage him\u201d to give up by talking to him and putting \u201cgas\u201d into the home, Cook said. <\/p>\n [DOWNLOAD: Free Action News Jax app for alerts as news breaks<\/a>]<\/p>\n Cook said he was taken into custody and will be transported to the Duval County Jail.
