Once a celebrity-frequented spot known for its over-the-top creations, smoking candy goblets and 24-scoop King Kong Sundae, Sugar Factory\u2019s final location at 507 Espa\u00f1ola Way appears to have permanently closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/food-drink\/miami-beach-celebrity-hotspot-closes-after-11-years-40580142\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/food-drink\/miami-beach-celebrity-hotspot-closes-after-11-years-40580142\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_non_sales\">reported by the Miami New Times<\/a>, the brasserie\u2019s final local spot shut its doors in late July or early August as recent Google reviews suggest. While no official closing announcement was shared, the Miami Beach address has already been eliminated from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sugarfactory.com\/locations-united-states\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/www.sugarfactory.com\/locations-united-states\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_non_sales\">\u201clocations\u201d page on its website<\/a>, with the only Florida restaurants remaining in Orlando and Tampa.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/King-Kong-Sundae-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"King Kong Sundae at Sugar Factory\" class=\"wp-image-65024\"  \/>Courtesy of Sugar Factory<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vegas-born establishment first brought its Instagrammable sugar rushes to Ocean Drive, where the grand opening was hosted by a then-17-year-old Kylie Jenner who greeted massive crowds and showed off her signature Couture Pop lollipops.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At one point there had been locations on Lincoln Road, Alton Road, Bayside Marketplace and even Aventura Mall \u2014 with appearances by Mariah Carey, Natti Natasha and Scott Disick. But over the years, each one had slowly and quietly closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2020, entities tied to the Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road locations had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to the New Times. As the brand attempted to bounce back with new locations, a 2023 lawsuit reported <a href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/miami\/2023\/11\/17\/investor-sues-sugar-factory-founder-charissa-davidocci\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/miami\/2023\/11\/17\/investor-sues-sugar-factory-founder-charissa-davidocci\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_2\" data-category=\"click_non_sales\">by The Real Deal<\/a>, filed by investor John Sullivan, alleged that founder Charissa Davidovici and her partners withheld nearly $1 million in profit distributions, failed to repay a $2.1 million promissory note and diverted $1.8 million toward a proposed doughnut shop.
