It’s Wednesday Saturday, so you know what that means… time for the blog that gives you the internet’s most ridiculous college football preview series- it’s #FakeNunes time. Can we keep finding ways to get #jokesandgarbage into a Syracuse Orange preview? You be the judge….

Now onto this week’s opponent

Opponent: Miami Hurricanes

Location: Coral Gables, FL

Students: 19,852 students who wish their stadium was named after Pitbull

The 2025 Fake Nunes Statistical Index (#FNSI)

We continue to look to innovate our analytics model so we here’s what the lab cooked up for this season.

The FNSI staff won’t give up on their quest to bring back more tradition into today’s college game. Let’s see what they’ve got for this one

It’s the 315 versus the 305 today so the winner gets a trophy with a 3 _ 5 on top and the winning team gets to complete their area code.

Fran Brown wants to reclaim the Garden State so let’s see how the Orange stack up against each opponent.

The Orange have 17 players from Jersey on this year’s squad while Miami has 3.

Bringing back this one as we love to drop, some knowledge every now and then to help our loyal readers possibly win a trivia night. After all we are the Syracuse blog that loves you back and we take that seriously.

Jon Secada vs Vanessa Williams

With the GRAMMY nominations just announced, we’ve got the two-time winner Secada matched up against the former Miss America. Both artists appeared on the Pocahontas soundtrack, but only one of them earned a GRAMMY so the colors of this wind are Syracuse Orange

Advantage: Vanessa Williams

Dylan Joyce is another Aussie punter standing in the way of Jack Stonehouse and all-ACC honors. While he’s not matching the punting numbers, he does win in the sleeve tattoo competition.

Orangeawatha Miron Court Special Menu Item

Thanks to Orangeawatha we now that the Miron Victory Court will have a specialty item for each opponent this year. This week, the special item will be Croquetas de Jamon (Cuban Ham Croquettes) and cafecitos. You’ll have to save the Cuban cigars for after the Syracuse upset.

Fran went non-Cuse trademark last week, but he wasn’t going D.A.R.T. and instead hit us with this Eric Emanuel hat instead.

"SYRACUSE,

The Official #FakeNunes Game Prediction

Rickie Collins comes out and throws two early interceptions leading Orange fans to scream for Jakhari Williams. On the other side, Miami focuses on the run game and goes up 10-0. A big kickoff return gives Syracuse some life and a Dan Villari pass to Darrell Gill, Jr leaves Mario Cristobal confused.

It’s a tight game into the fourth quarter when Malachi Toney takes over and scores on two long touchdowns- one a screen pass and another on a Wildcat run. Miami gets a small bit of revenge for last year while Syracuse gets another week of quarterback roulette.
