(CBS12) \u2014 Officers with the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoffortpierce.com\/1186\/Police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Fort Pierce Police Department<\/a> helped save a woman who was having a mental health crisis on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>FPPD says that four of its officers responded to the South Causeway Bridge where a woman was experiencing a mental health crisis, sitting on the outer railing of the bridge facing the water.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the officers took initiative to keep her focused while assessing the situation, FPPD says.
