City of Orlando-owned venue the Kia Center is under fire for hosting a boxing match that degenerated into a melee of swastika flags, Nazi salutes and appearances by wildly controversial personalities.<\/p>\n

And tucked somewhere in between the madness was a \u201cspecial attraction death match\u201d that featured \u201cFreakbob\u201d (someone dressed as Spongebob) refereed by Clavicular. <\/p>\n

The streamer and internet influencer, whose real name is Braden Peters, is most notable for his \u201clooksmaxxing,\u201d a controversial practice meant to optimize one\u2019s physical appearance through methods like using crystal meth to keep weight off and facial \u201cbone smashing.\u201d It\u2019s tied to the far-right-associated incel community, often focuses on eugenics and prioritizes white-associated facial features.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old in the last year has drawn national headlines for partying with far-right influencers<\/a> in a Miami club playing the Kanye West song \u201cHeil Hitler,\u201d allegedly hitting a person<\/a> with his Tesla Cybertruck, shooting a (dead) alligator<\/a> in the Everglades, and overdosing while streaming online. He currently faces a lawsuit, filed in Miami, in which a female \u201clooksmaxxer\u201d has accused him of sexual assault and battery.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s spent an increasing amount of time in the Sunshine State since his rise to infamy started in early 2026. And that includes here in Orlando, where he was a special guest at college bar The Knight Library<\/a> in February. <\/p>\n

And now, as a (very bad) guest referee at last Saturday\u2019s Duel Arena mixed martial arts event.<\/p>\n

Commentators are heard complaining that Peters let the fight go on too long, saying it was \u201cvery hard to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clavicular was not the only figure present with a well-established egregious reputation.<\/p>\n

Florida kickboxer and known far-right extremist Paul Nicholas Miller, or \u201cGypsy Crusader,\u201d who sports a tattoo of the lightning bolt logo of the SS <\/a>on his chest and has called for a \u201crace-based civil war,\u201d<\/a> fought Ben \u201cKing\u201d Azoulay during Saturday\u2019s match.<\/p>\n

Miller derided his Jewish opponent as<\/a> a \u201ca short little f**king Jew prick\u201d and threw up what appeared to be a \u201cHeil Hitler\u201d salute.<\/p>\n

The event made national headlines after videos of several audience members also performing Nazi salutes and displaying swastika symbols were circulated online.<\/p>\n

An infinitely more satisfying video showed a woman who appeared to be a Kia Center employee, although that\u2019s not been confirmed, confiscate the swastika flag by herself<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although the Kia Center released a statement saying it does not condone \u201chate speech\u201d and abides by the First Amendment, the fact remains that Saturday\u2019s event platformed these individuals.<\/p>\n

Three days after the event, te department of the City that manages the Kia Center, Orlando Venues, took to X<\/a> Tuesday: \u201cAs operators of public venues, the City is bound by the First Amendment. This means we cannot deny access because we disagree with the political ideology, opinion or perspective regardless of the message.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSymbols of hate, including the Nazi flag, were brought to Kia Center this weekend. But hate will never be welcome here,\u201d wrote Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, also on X<\/a>. \u201cOur community will continue to stand against antisemitism and all forms of hate to ensure that Orlando is a place where every person is valued and respected.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida weighed in early this week, condemning both<\/a> the events at the arena and those who organized it:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Neo-Nazis and open white supremacists are granted a public platform in competitive sports, these are the predictable consequences. We call on those who organized the event to take accountability for facilitating this shameful display.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Orlando state representative and mayoral candidate Anna Eskamani told the Guardian<\/a> that \u201cthis is another reminder of how prevalent extremism is in our society, and of the responsibility every one of us carries to combat antisemitism, racism, white supremacy and hate in all its forms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also a reason for the Kia Center, and all public venues, to re-evaluate their rules,\u201d she added. \u201cThe First Amendment is broad, and I take it seriously, but conduct that invites and incites violence is a different question, and every angle should be explored to prevent this from happening again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The city-owned Kia Center has not responded to a request from Orlando Weekly to offer an updated statement as of Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
