TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Scattered storm chances stick around for the rest of the holiday weekend, and a few storms could pack a punch. Meteorologist Cameron Aaron has the latest. <\/p>\n
Tonight Through Sunday Night <\/p>\n
Spotty showers are possible for Saturday evening, but rain chances are not widespread. The activity will start to weaken and fade away after sunset. A stray shower is possible during the overnight, mainly near the coast. However, most are dry and warm. Lows settle in the low-to-mid-70s under a mostly clear sky. Some patchy fog is possible. <\/p>\n
Another warm day is on tap for Sunday. Highs climb into the low-and-mid-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds. The first half of the day looks mostly quiet, but we are tracking a better rain and storm chance during the late afternoon and evening. <\/p>\n
A few storms could be strong. A Level 1 Marginal risk of severe weather is in place for places along and north of I-10. The main threat will be gusty winds. Have that free First Alert Weather app, just in case. <\/p>\n
Overnight lows settle in the low-to-mid-70s for Sunday night under a partly cloudy sky. Again, some fog is possible. <\/p>\n
Labor Day Forecast<\/p>\n
Scattered showers and thunderstorms linger into Labor Day Monday. Is it going to rain for the entire day? No, but you may need the umbrella at times. <\/p>\n
Highs top out in the low-90s under a partly cloudy sky. <\/p>\n
Spotty showers are possible for Monday evening, so stay weather aware if you\u2019re heading to the SMU\/FSU football game. <\/p>\n
We are expecting a drying trend after sunset as lows dip into the low-and-mid-70s. <\/p>\n
Extended Forecast<\/p>\n
Storm chances are not going away through the middle of next week. <\/p>\n
Scattered showers and storms are possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. <\/p>\n
Again, we are not anticipating a constant rain, but pack the umbrella and that First Alert Weather app. <\/p>\n
Because of the showers, temperatures are not so bad. We hover in the low-90s under a partly cloudy sky. <\/p>\n
