One scene features an enormous rocket emblazoned with \u201cACME,\u201d the fictional company famously associated with the elaborate gadgets and contraptions of Warner Bros.\u2019 \u201cLooney Tunes\u201d cartoons. The premise broadly plays with the idea of recognizable Saturday morning cartoon imagery going horribly wrong.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" alt=\"A Petrified Forest masks in a trailer shown by a staff member\" class=\"wp-image-378978 perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/A-Petrified-Forest-masks-Photo-by-Tim-Meyering-1200x675.jpg\"  data-\/>A Petrified Forest masks.<br \/>Photo by Tim Meyering<\/p>\n<p>What is \u2018Drawn to Death\u2019?<\/p>\n<p>A Petrified Forest describes \u2018Drawn to Death\u2019 as a world where the cheerful characters of Saturday morning cartoons escape the screen and reality becomes a \u201cdemented Technicolor nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a fun Orlando coincidence in the name: \u2018Drawn to Death\u2019 sounds like a sinister counterpart to \u201cDrawn to Life,\u201d the Cirque du Soleil and Disney show at Disney Springs that celebrates the art of Disney animation and brings drawings to life on stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Drawn to Death\u2019 is one of three completely new scare trails at A Petrified Forest this year, alongside \u2018The Craving\u2019 and \u2018Last Responders.\u2019 Regular admission includes all three trails, and this year the attraction expands its lineup of add-on experiences.<\/p>\n<p>See some of our behind-the-scenes visit, in our video below.<\/p>\n<p>The independent haunt says it tears down and rebuilds its attractions each year, meaning the 2026 environments are all-new.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apetrifiedforest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">A Petrified Forest<\/a> opens Oct. 2 at 1360 E.
