{"id":393977,"date":"2026-09-08T19:52:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T19:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/393977\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T19:52:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T19:52:11","slug":"person-dies-roof-partially-collapsed-in-tallahassee-house-fire-tfd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/393977\/","title":{"rendered":"Person dies, roof partially collapsed in Tallahassee house fire: TFD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NORTHEAST TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) \u2014 Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) said a person was found deceased in a house fire in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n<p>Fire crews responded to a residential structure fire around 10:09 a.m. on Sept. 8.<\/p>\n<p>            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1788897130_385_.png\" alt=\"Residential house fire in Tallahassee, person dies\"  width=\"1280\" height=\"721\"\/><\/p>\n<p>City of Tallahassee Fire Department<\/p>\n<p>When crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the roof of a single-story home, TFD said.<\/p>\n<p>When fire crews searched the home, they found one person deceased near the front doorway of the home.<\/p>\n<p>A portion of the roof collapsed before crews brought the fire under control, TFD said.
