Lagway came into the season with high expectations after putting up decent numbers as a freshman last year. He finished the 2024 season with 1,915 yards through the air, 12 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.<\/p>\n

In nine games this season, he has amassed 1,762 yards through the air, 11 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The Gators just haven’t gotten good enough play from him this year.<\/p>\n
Lagway was part of the 2024 recruiting class and was a five-star recruit, per 247Sports Composite rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Gators will take on the sixth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels on Nov. 15 before playing the No. 25 Tennessee Volunteers on Nov. 22.
