Officers spoke with the parties involved and learned the dispute was over a dog urinating. Additionally, there was a language barrier. The dispute was resolved and officers documented the incident. KB-26-0809.<\/p>\n<p>Units were dispatched to Crandon Blvd. &amp; Galen Dr. regarding a minor traffic crash, with no injuries. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a traffic crash report. KB-26-0810.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant contacted police from the 400 block of Grand Bay Dr. to report their lost wallet. Officers completed a report and listed the lost items. KB-26-0811.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a fraud report. Officers met with the complainant. The complainant advised they observed two unknown cash checking attempts. The transactions did not occur in Key Biscayne. A report was completed and the complainant was referred to the appropriate jurisdictions. KB-26-0812.<\/p>\n<p>September 1, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Police completed a traffic stop at Crandon Blvd. &amp; Ocean Lane Dr. for failure to yield to a pedestrian. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to the Shell Gas Station regarding a theft call. Officers contacted the gas station attendant. They told police a white male had opened the storage room, only allowed access by employees, and took a 12-pack of chocolate milk. The male fled the area. Officers later located a male matching the description and he was detained. The male was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to TGK jail for booking. KB-26-0813.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD assisted MDSO with a vessel-to-vessel damage call at Crandon Marina. MDSO took over the scene. KB-26-0814.<\/p>\n<p>Police were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 300 block of Gulf Rd. Officers learned the housekeeper did not deactivate the alarm in time. All appeared secure.<\/p>\n<p>Units responded to a residential alarm at the 700 block of Mashta Dr. Officers learned the property was under construction. Officers checked the area and all appeared secure.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD officers completed a traffic stop at Crandon Blvd. &amp; E. Heather Dr. Officers spoke with the vehicle operator and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>September 2, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Units conducted a traffic stop for a tag violation at the 400 block of Crandon Blvd. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>Officers completed a traffic stop for careless driving at Crandon Blvd. &amp; Sonesta Dr. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>Units completed a traffic stop at Calusa Circle for a tint violation. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers responded to the 200 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a suspicious incident involving a missing vehicle. Officers contacted the victim. The victim told police they reside outside of the country and contacted a mechanic for vehicle repairs before leaving the country. The victim returned to the country and attempted to locate their vehicle. The victim was told the mechanic had been deported. The vehicle was not located and officers listed it as stolen. KBPD detectives were notified. KB-26-0815.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD units were dispatched to the 50 block of Harbor Dr. regarding a minor parking lot accident. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a traffic crash report. KB-26-0816.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Ocean Lane Dr. regarding a minor parking lot accident. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a traffic crash report. KB-26-0817.<\/p>\n<p>Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a minor traffic crash with no injuries. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a traffic crash report. KB-26-0818.<\/p>\n<p>The victim contacted police from the 500 block of Ridgewood Rd. to report damage to their vehicle. Police learned the rear cargo area corner window was shattered by an unknown suspect(s). Officers provided a case number. KB-26-0819.<\/p>\n<p>Officers assisted Hialeah PD with a traffic stop. KB-26-0820.<\/p>\n<p>Police completed a traffic stop for careless driving at the 900 block of Crandon Blvd. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>September 3, 2026<\/p>\n<p>While on patrol around the 600 block of Hampton Lane, officers issued a parking citation to a vehicle parked in a prohibited area.<\/p>\n<p>Officers issued a parking citation to a vehicle obstructing the roadway at the 500 block of Hampton Lane.<\/p>\n<p>Units responded to the 300 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a dog bite. Officers contacted the party involved. The bite did not break skin and was not severe. The victim did not want to pursue any action with the owner of the dog. Officers documented the incident and provided a case number. KB-26-0821.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD officers responded to the 300 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a minor traffic crash between a cyclist and a vehicle. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a traffic crash report. The cyclist had a minor laceration. KB-26-0822.<\/p>\n<p>Units completed a traffic stop of a golf cart for running a stop sign at Glenridge Rd. &amp; W. Heather Dr. Officers spoke with the operator and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>September 4, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Police completed a traffic stop at the 400 block of Crandon Blvd. for a tint violation. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted a father and daughter, who were already separated. The dispute was verbal in nature and the father left the residence. Officers completed a report. KB-26-0823.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant contacted police from the 200 block of Crandon Blvd. and requested a police report regarding their interactions with the staff at Commodore Club. Officers documented their concern and provided a case card. KB-26-0824.<\/p>\n<p>Police were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 200 block of Greenwood Dr. Officers were advised the activation was accidental. All appeared secure.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a loud music complaint. Officers contacted the homeowner, advised them of the call, and had the music lowered.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD assisted KBFD with a minor oil leak in a parking lot at the 600 block of Crandon Blvd. KB-26-0825.<\/p>\n<p>Police conducted a traffic stop at the 6000 block of Crandon Blvd. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>September 5, 2026<\/p>\n<p>KBPD officers completed a traffic stop for a tag violation at the 100 block of E. Enid Dr. Officers contacted the driver and issued two citations. Officers placed the tag into evidence and the vehicle was towed. KB\u201426-0826.<\/p>\n<p>Police responded to the 50 block of Harbor Dr. regarding a disturbance inside of 7-11 with a customer. On arrival, the male had left the store. Officers did not locate the male.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD units completed a traffic stop at the 50 block of Crandon Blvd. for an improper turn. Officers contacted the driver and issued two (2) citations.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to the 700 block of Harbor Dr. regarding a Medical Call. KB-26-0827.<\/p>\n<p>Police responded to the 300 block of Ridgewood Rd. regarding construction occurring on the weekends. Officers contacted a crew working and advised them of the village ordinance. The work stopped and the crew left without further incident.<\/p>\n<p>KBPD assisted KBFD with a medical call at the 400 block of Woodcrest Rd. KB-26-0828.<\/p>\n<p>September 6, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Units responded to the 200 block of Buttonwood Rd. regarding a loud party. Officers contacted the homeowner, who told police the party had just ended, and everyone was leaving.<\/p>\n<p>Police completed a traffic stop at the 100 block of Fernwood Rd. for a tag violation. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation. Officers placed the tag into evidence and the vehicle was towed.
