MIAMI BEACH, Fla. \u2014 A \u201cviolent\u201d South Florida sex trafficker who went by the street name \u201cCachi\u201d and called himself a \u201clife coach\u201d beat, threatened and even branded his victims, according to police.<\/p>\n
\u201cCachi,\u201d whose real name is Russell Dominique Brown, is facing multiple felony charges in Miami-Dade County.<\/p>\n
An arrest report from the Miami Beach Police Department lists the crime location as 4441 Collins Ave. \u2015 the address of the famed Fontainebleau hotel on Mid-Beach.<\/p>\n
\u2018I don\u2019t consider myself a pimp; I\u2019m a life coach\u2019<\/p>\n
Miami Beach police said a 29-year-old victim told investigators that she met Brown, 36, of Lauderdale Lakes, while working at a Pompano Beach strip club in 2025.<\/p>\n
Brown was a customer, they said, who \u201c(threw) a lot of cash, which got her attention,\u201d the report stated. <\/p>\n
Authorities said he asked the victim to hang out, telling her, \u201cI want to make your life better,\u201d and the two began dating.<\/p>\n
Brown was initially \u201ccharming, generous and charismatic,\u201d police said, and he began inviting her to his house when he was alone \u201cand they mostly stayed in his bedroom, that had a lock operated by a keypad on it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Eventually, police said the victim learned that there were four other women living there, \u201cbut they were working at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen she noticed all the rooms had makeup vanities and there was a stripper pole in the house, she began to ask questions,\u201d the MBPD report states.<\/p>\n
Authorities said Brown explained to her who the women were.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are my b—-es,\u201d he said, according to police. \u201cI don\u2019t consider myself a pimp; I\u2019m a life coach.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities said Brown told the victim he could help her start a business, get cosmetic procedures done, as well as a new car and luxury goods. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe even told her they could have a Baby Cachi together one day,\u201d the report states.<\/p>\n
Police said Brown told the victim he \u201cwas a big deal in Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim further explained that all the women living in the house were making money dancing in strip clubs and engaging in prostitution and all of their earnings were put on the money counter as soon as the women got home,\u201d the report states. \u201c(Brown) then would then use that money to pay for room rentals, vehicle rentals and essentials for the women.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Brown only made the payments when \u201che wanted to,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n
\u2018It began to feel like a cult\u2019: A $1,000 daily \u2018quota,\u2019 violence and threats<\/p>\n
Authorities said the victim began prostituting herself at Brown\u2019s direction, in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties. <\/p>\n
Brown set her prices and set a $1,000 daily \u201cquota\u201d for her, police said, \u201cand when she made her quota she could go home to her daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIf the quota wasn\u2019t made, she would stay and work more to keep him happy because she was afraid of what would happen if he wasn\u2019t happy,\u201d the report states.<\/p>\n
Police said Brown, whom the victim knew to regularly be armed, \u201cpushed and shoved\u201d the victim and was \u201cviolent\u201d with the other women. Additionally, they said he regularly threatened the victim.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of (Brown\u2019s) most common threats was bringing up what happened to another known associate of his, who had testified against him in a bond revocation hearing,\u201d the report states. \u201cThat woman was involved in a near-fatal car accident, and (Brown) would constantly say, \u2018You see what I did to that b—-? When you go against me, you see what happens?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Police said Brown would also \u201cconstantly tell the victim that he is a member of the Blood Gang and has people everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe also told her he is a Freemason,\u201d the report states. \u201cWhen the victim told him she didn\u2019t know what that was, he told her to look it up, because he has people all over the place. The victim said he was always telling her he was powerful and to not make him show her how powerful he is.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to police, she said \u201con several occasions,\u201d Brown would turn her phone off \u201cwhen he was upset with her or he would have the car rental guy use the kill switch on the car she was driving so she couldn\u2019t leave wherever she was.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities said Brown made music and the victim told detectives that his songs were \u201cplaying in his house constantly and it began to feel like a cult.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim stated all of the women working for (Brown) have tattoos that represent him, that include one of his monikers,\u201d the report states. \u201cThe victim showed detectives a tattoo that (he) told her to get on her upper left thigh that says \u2018Cachi 5 Queen.\u2019 According to the victim, this tattoo represents that she is one of his girls and the number five to represent his allegiance to the Blood Gang.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ongoing criminal case, latest charges<\/p>\n
Authorities said Brown committed these crimes while out on bond in a separate human trafficking case.<\/p>\n
Brown, they said, \u201cwas absconded from custody after cutting off his court ordered ankle monitor.\u201d<\/p>\n
Records show Brown was arrested on a litany of charges, including human trafficking, aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm, also by Miami Beach police, in 2021.<\/p>\n
He has been jailed in Miami-Dade County since this April in connection with a warrant from that case, records show. <\/p>\n
He was formally re-arrested on Wednesday while locked up in the Metrowest Detention Center, police said.<\/p>\n
He now faces additional charges, including commercial sex trafficking, human trafficking with branding and deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution.<\/p>\n
As of Thursday afternoon, he remained held without bond at the MWDC, records show.<\/p>\n
