TPA\u2019s dining nomination recognizes its collection of regional and national restaurants. <\/p>\n
Local concepts operating at the airport include Ulele, Cigar City Brewing, Columbia Cafe and Bavaro\u2019s. <\/p>\n
Dining locations are available throughout the Main Terminal and airsides, offering options before and after security checkpoints.<\/p>\n
The art category highlights the airport\u2019s permanent collection, rotating displays and commissioned installations. <\/p>\n
One of its most recognizable works is \u201cHOME,\u201d a 21-foot flamingo sculpture created by artist Matthew Mazzotta. <\/p>\n
Airport visitors commonly call the flamingo \u201cPhoebe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Other artwork displayed across the airport includes sculptures, murals, photographs and multimedia pieces located in the Main Terminal, passenger airsides and Rental Car Center.<\/p>\n
Tampa International finished first in all three airport categories during the 2025 competition. <\/p>\n
The latest nominations give TPA an opportunity to repeat as Best Large Airport, Best Airport for Dining and Best Airport for Art.
