JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Four people were arrested and four vehicles were taken off the road after a Labor Day car meetup in Jacksonville grew to roughly 30 vehicles, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

JSO said the meetup was held off Blanding Boulevard before participants headed toward Friendship Fountain on the Southbank.<\/p>\n

Juan Solivan, 18, and Joseph Ezzo, 20, are each facing at least one felony charge. <\/p>\n

Two other suspects, both 18, are facing misdemeanors. <\/p>\n

News4JAX is not naming those suspects because they are charged with misdemeanors. <\/p>\n

JSO said Solivan was also arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and had an active warrant for his arrest.<\/p>\n

The operation involved Community Problem Response, K9, Aviation, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Specialized Traffic Enforcement and patrol officers, the agency said.<\/p>\n

Officers issued 15 traffic citations and four warnings. Two vehicles were impounded for 30 days, while two others were seized for forfeiture, according to JSO.<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s office said it does not oppose car meetups but will intervene when they involve street racing, stunt driving or other reckless behavior. <\/p>\n

JSO also warned that passengers can receive citations if they are riding in a vehicle involved in street racing or stunt driving.<\/p>\n

The agency said 122 people have been killed on Jacksonville roads and urged drivers to operate their vehicles safely.<\/p>\n
