{"id":396307,"date":"2026-09-10T23:14:29","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T23:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/396307\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T23:14:29","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T23:14:29","slug":"frontier-airlines-announces-new-nonstop-flights-from-orlando-to-colombia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/396307\/","title":{"rendered":"Frontier Airlines announces new nonstop flights from Orlando to Colombia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 Frontier Airlines is expanding its international operations with its first-ever service to South America, launching three nonstop routes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Colombia in December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The new service will connect MCO with Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn and Cartagena.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The flights will operate to El Dorado International Airport in Bogot\u00e1, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda C\u00f3rdova International Airport in Medell\u00edn and Rafael N\u00fa\u00f1ez International Airport in Cartagena.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">More than 360,000 visitors travel from Colombia to Orlando each year, and the airline is the second-largest carrier at Orlando International by passenger market share.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">\u201cWell, Orlando is a really important market for us overall, and we continue to grow here. It\u2019s one of our largest bases of operation, so for us it was a great place for our new flights to South America, and it is our first time going to the continent. So, we\u2019re really excited about the big day for us and the community,\u201d Tyri Squyres, Frontier\u2019s vice president of public and consumer affairs, told News 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Frontier also announced plans to continue growing at Orlando International, reaching 79 daily departures by March.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Tickets are on sale now.
