I was really scared more than anybody else that was there,&#8221; Rubin-Perry said.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"4\">Fort Pierce police said the threat originated from an email opened by a staff member shortly before 9 a.m., who immediately notified campus security. Officers evacuated three buildings identified in the message, including the library, and conducted thorough searches. Ultimately, nothing was found.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"5\">K-9 teams from Port St. Lucie police and the Indian County Sheriff&#8217;s Office also responded to assist in the search.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"7\">&#8220;So a lot of people get caught into the caught up in the false alarm, crying wolf type stuff. But the reason we dedicate so many resources is because we never know,&#8221; said Michael Santiago of the Fort Pierce Police Department.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"9\">Police said the email appears similar in format to threats reported in Martin County on Thursday, though they cannot directly connect the incidents. The FBI is now working with local investigators to trace the email&#8217;s origin.   <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"10\">Fort Pierce police emphasized the significant impact of such threats, which disrupt classes and divert officers from other duties.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"11\">&#8220;We&#8217;re disrupting a school, all of the students, all of the faculty.
