Trevor Lawrence<\/a> threw four touchdowns, the defense allowed just one and the Jaguars’ 2026 regular-season opener was a good day \u2013 and an impressive start \u2013 all around as they started fast and finished strong in a 34-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns<\/a> in front of 41,156 at EverBank Stadium.<\/p>\n “A true team win,” Head Coach Liam Coen<\/a> called Sunday, with rookie wide receiver Josh Cameron<\/a> adding, “We’re just getting started.”<\/p>\n Tight end Brenton Strange<\/a>:\u00a0“That’s what we expect. That’s our standard.”<\/p>\n Lawrence completed 18 of 23 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions and a passer rating of 150.6, with the Jaguars taking a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and winning their regular-season opener for a second consecutive season for the first time since 2017-2018.<\/p>\n “It was awesome,” Lawrence said. “Definitely a lot to build on and a good start for us.”<\/p>\n Lawrence, who left the game with a 34-3 lead with 8:12 remaining, threw three touchdowns to wide receivers Parker Washington<\/a>, Cameron and Jakobi Meyers<\/a> \u2013 and also threw one to Strange.
