FFor the first time, the Tallahassee Ballet is teaming up with TWO other performing arts organizations for its big yearly show at F-S-U’s Opperman Music Hall. More from Tom Flanigan.<\/p>\n
Tallahassee Ballet Artistic Director Megan Helman says musicians from the Florida State State University College of Music have been part of the performance for quite a while. But this year, the show will also include students from Tallahassee’s Young Actors Theatre. <\/p>\n
“(We’ll have) live music with our FSU musicians. There will be dance pieces that are sung with Young Actors Theatre. We have one piece where we are restaging the opening scene from ‘A Chorus Line’ and you’ll have both Tallahassee Ballet dancers and singers and actors from Young Actors Theatre together on stage performing that as a group.”<\/p>\n
The shows will be this Friday evening and a Sunday matinee.<\/p>\n
