Trantalis, the mayor; Ben Sorensen, the vice mayor; and Commissioners Steven Glassman and Pamela Beasley-Pittman voted to pass the proposed budget. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Commissioner John C. Herbst, who had supported a rollback rate, was the dissenting vote. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Christopher Cooper, the acting city manager, said the millage rate remained at $4.1193 per $1,000 of taxable value. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The fire assessment fee is $444 per residential dwelling. Fire Chief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortlauderdale.gov\/Government\/Departments\/Fire-Rescue\/Leadership-Structure\/Office-of-the-Fire-Chief\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fortlauderdale.gov\/Government\/Departments\/Fire-Rescue\/Leadership-Structure\/Office-of-the-Fire-Chief\">Stephen W.
