Crane on barge knocks out power to hundreds of SW Cape Coral homes Tuesday morning<\/p>\n

Cape Coral homes are without power Tuesday morning after a crane knocked out power lines near a canal.<\/p>\n

According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, crews are on the scene of a barge with a crane that came into contact with power lines over a canal in the 3900 block of Southwest 1st Place.<\/p>\n

Homes in the area are currently without power. Lee County Electric Cooperative crews are on the scene and making repairs in an attempt to restore power. According to the LCEC map, as of 9:42 a.m., 170 customers are without power.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
