Once inside, they start shouting at a woman to raise her hands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A moment later, 17-year-old Durrell Young swings his door open with a gun in his right hand and moves toward the room deputies are in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The entire interaction happens very quickly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Sheriff\u2019s Office says the deputy told Young to put up his hands, but he did not comply, so the deputy shot him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities released a photo of the gun they said Young was armed with.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Sheriff\u2019s Office says Young and another man named on the warrant, 18-year-old Valentino Berry, were known to deputies due to previous gun-related offenses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Berry was taken into custody.
