Known to all as Pat, she was a strong, independent woman of deep faith, generosity, Irish wit, and grace.<br \/>Born March 1938 in Manhattan, New York, Patricia was the first of three children born to Margaret and Michael O. Glynn, a New York City firefighter. Her brother, Michael O. Glynn II, preceded her in death in October 2022. She is survived by her sister, Eileen Patricia (Glynn) Carr of Toledo, Ohio, Eileen\u2019s husband, Jim, and her sister-in-law, Mary (O\u2019Shaunessy) Glynn.<br \/>In 1965, while serving as a U.S. Department of Defense teacher, Pat met and married Fred A. Roloff in Tokyo, Japan. Their marriage endured until his death in October 1999. Together they raised two daughters, Roberta (Timothy Mulholland) and Michele (John Ferriolo), while living in Hawaii, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, before settling in Green Cove Springs in 1982.<br \/>With a B.A. in Education from Fordham University, a Master\u2019s from Loyola University and another from UNF, Pat began a life of teaching and service that touched every continent. She served as a Council of Catholic Women leader, Principal of Assumption School, third grade teacher at San Jose Catholic School, Media Specialist at St. Clair Evans Academy, and Director of Religious Education at Sacred Heart Parish.<br \/>A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish in Fleming Island, Florida, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. A reception hosted by her beloved CCW friends will follow in the Sullivan Room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Camp I Am Special, honoring Patricia\u2019s lifelong commitment to Catholic charity and children\u2019s education.<br \/>Please sign the family\u2019s online guestbook at http:\/\/www.broadusraines.com.
