What happened to all those big fireworks that were behind the hotel in all the videos I\u2019ve seen as I was planning my trip? Needless to say, I was very disappointed.<\/p>\n \u2014 Steve Douglas (@WDWSteve) September 15, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n The official Universal Orlando account replied to him, confirming that the Celestial Goodnight fireworks are \u201ctemporarily unavailable\u201d due to \u201ca technical issue\u201d:<\/p>\n Hi Steve, the fireworks portion of Universal Celestial Goodnight is temporarily unavailable as we work to resolve a technical issue. We apologize for any inconvenience, and will be sure to share your feedback. #AskUniversal<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Universal Orlando Resort (@UniversalORL) September 15, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n @WDWSteve added that no announcement was played over the PA, nor was there any notification in the Universal Orlando app that fireworks would not be happening at that night\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n X user @steakandhash<\/a> also tweeted at the official Universal account asking when the fireworks might resume, but Universal was unable to provide a date or timeline: <\/p>\n Universal announced the addition of fireworks to Epic Universe in June<\/a>, after the company began\u00a0hiring fireworks technicians<\/a>\u00a0and installing equipment along the\u00a0park\u2019s fireworks launch peninsula<\/a>.
