Operating outside of the box has long been a calling card for Eunmi Ko<\/a>, and the Tampa-based composer is really leaning in for the world premiere of new work by composers Tyler Kline and Joseph Klein.<\/p>\n

Based in Tampa since 2014, Ko, who drives the Contemporary Art Music Project (CAMP), regularly contributed to the avant-garde music scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was genuinely sad to see the decline in collaborations between St. Pete\u2019s arts spaces and musicians, so I\u2019m particularly excited to return with a program that is fun, whimsical, a little weird, and\u2014yes\u2014still sophisticated!,\u201d she wrote in an email to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. \u201cAlong with the music, I\u2019ll be reading my own story, which does not have a title yet, as well as Young Sycamore by William Carlos Williams and an excerpt from Blind Man by Elias Canetti.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no cover to see Eunmi Ko, Tyler Kline, and Joseph Klein at Suite E Studios in St. Petersburg on Friday, Sept. 18.<\/a><\/p>\n
