Escape and adventure are the themes on each side of Sidequests, the new double-LP from St. Petersburg experimental rock and jam band Ajeva<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Opening with carefree indie-rock, the record\u2014produced, mixed and mastered by the band\u2019s own drummer Tucker Sody\u2014turns into a dramatic prog-rock jam on the backside with huge contributions from bassist Taylor Gilchrist.<\/p>\n

In midst of a short Southeastern headlining tour, with a few dates opening for Andy Frasco mixed in, Ajeva plays a two-set homecoming album release show where they\u2019ll do the album in full and also do the band\u2019s elusive rave set.<\/p>\n

Tickets to see Ajeva at Bayboro Brewing in St. Petersburg on Saturday, Sept. 19 are still available and start at $24.80.<\/a><\/p>\n
