The Florida Public Relations Association\u2019s Southwest Florida Chapter named Priority Marketing\u2019s Nicki McTeague as its 2026 Chapter Member of the Year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The organization describes the honoree as follows: \u201cThe Southwest Florida Chapter Member of the Year Award is one who goes above and beyond in their commitment of time and energy to ensure the success of the chapter. Not only has this recipient embraced the creative thinking and opportunities for participation in chapter programs and projects, but she or he also serves as an ambassador to the community of what FPRA is all about. This person excels at their profession, and enjoys giving back to this chapter to inspire future PR leaders to learn and grow through FPRA.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nicki has been heavily involved in FPRA for several years, holding integral leadership roles like vice president of communications, seminars co-chair, media breakfast co-chair and website chair. In her current position as VP of communications, Nicki leads the chapter\u2019s communications strategy and oversees its social media channels, email marketing, website, text messaging and general member communications.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201c(Nicki)\u00a0has strengthened our chapter through years of dedicated service, strategic leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence,\u201d Immediate Past President\u00a0Shannon Williamson, APR, said in announcing the award. \u201cShe has served in multiple volunteer roles, continuously stepping in wherever needed. She has transformed our communications program through innovation, collaboration and process improvement. Her leadership has modernized how we engage members, expand our reach and create a\u00a0stronger chapter experience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nicki joined Priority Marketing in 2018 as an account manager and has progressed to roles as assistant director of account services, director of account services and her current position as senior director of strategy and events. Nicki\u2019s support has helped local nonprofits raise tens of millions of dollars that fuel their missions, with events often achieving fundraising records. Her events team executes more than 40 large-scale events annually, including major business functions like the Industry Appreciation Awards and Market Trends. Additionally, she has formalized Priority Marketing\u2019s college internship program and serves on the company\u2019s Leadership Team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Outside of work, Nicki serves on Florida Gulf Coast University\u2019s Lutgert College of Business Advisory Board and just finished a term on FGCU\u2019s Alumni Association Board of Directors. She regularly mentors FGCU students and helped establish a new digital marketing micro-credential through a partnership between Priority Marketing and FGCU.\u00a0<\/p>\n
