LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12)  \u2014 Amazon\u2019s Port St. Lucie fulfillment center is closing Thursday for a major renovation, leaving hundreds of workers out of a job while others have transferred to different facilities.<\/p>\n<p><p>Amazon closes Port St. Lucie warehouse for major renovation, hundreds impacted by layoffs. Cbs12&#8217;s Paige Meyer reports.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>When Amazon filed its layoff notice in July, 494 employees were listed as affected.
