{"id":40283,"date":"2025-11-09T23:56:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T23:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/40283\/"},"modified":"2025-11-09T23:56:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T23:56:07","slug":"passengers-describe-panic-aboard-jetblue-flight-after-loss-of-cabin-pressure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/40283\/","title":{"rendered":"Passengers describe panic aboard JetBlue flight after loss of cabin pressure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0November 9, 2025 at 6:49 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Updated:\u00a0November 9, 2025 at 6:55 PM<\/p>\n<p>Passengers describe panic aboard JetBlue flight after loss of cabin pressure <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. \u2014 A JetBlue flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles turned terrifying when oxygen masks suddenly dropped midair, sending passengers into panic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Video from the flight shows crying children and flight attendants urging everyone to put on masks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI was very, very scared,\u201d said passenger Maranda Wyatt, who was aboard Flight 2801. \u201cThere were a lot of kids crying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Wyatt and fellow traveler Dominic Narvaez said the plane lost cabin pressure while flying over Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cYou could feel the pressure in your head when they were yelling at us to put our masks on,\u201d Narvaez said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">When the plane landed safely in Los Angeles, passengers broke into applause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cIt was definitely one of those movie moments when we landed and the whole plane started clapping,\u201d Narvaez said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">JetBlue apologized and issued flight credits, but passengers say they still haven\u2019t received an explanation.
