(WCTV) &#8211; A Tallahassee man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/12\/06\/tallahassee-18-year-old-charged-with-attempted-murder-deadly-november-shooting\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/12\/06\/tallahassee-18-year-old-charged-with-attempted-murder-deadly-november-shooting\/\">arrested for a November 2024 deadly shooting<\/a> has entered a no-contest plea to the charges, according to court documents. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Johnathan Owens, who was 18 at the time of his arrest, was initially charged with attempted murder following a deadly shooting at a home on Blackjack Road, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/11\/10\/lcso-man-dead-after-shooting-blackjack-road\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/11\/10\/lcso-man-dead-after-shooting-blackjack-road\/\">previous coverage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An 18-year-old was shot and killed as a result of the shooting and another man was hospitalized with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Owens entered a no-contest plea Thursday to a lesser charge of aggravated assault with a firearm and firearm possession by a delinquent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-center\">More on crime in our area:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The young man also entered a no-contest plea for an unrelated armed robbery case that transpired in April 2026.
