(WCTV\/Florida Capitol Bureau) &#8211; The Florida Bar <a href=\"https:\/\/supremecourt.flcourts.gov\/content\/download\/2495402\/file\/July%202026%20Law%20School%20Rankings.pdf\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/supremecourt.flcourts.gov\/content\/download\/2495402\/file\/July%202026%20Law%20School%20Rankings.pdf\">released<\/a> this year\u2019s exam results for first-time takers of the July examination. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In total, the Florida Supreme Court approved 1,700 candidates for admission to the Florida Bar in 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Florida Bar, this is just one step required before candidates are granted full admission to the Florida Bar. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A lower number of applicants passed overall this year in comparison to the last few years, but some Florida universities showed improvement. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">About 80% of first-time takers from FAMU\u2019s College of Law passed the exam, improving from about 76% of students who passed last year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On the other hand, 91.8% of first-time takers from FSU\u2019s College of Law passed the exam, an increase from last year\u2019s 89% pass rate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">However, not every Florida university has experienced this positive trend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">UF\u2019s College of Law students saw 90.9% of first-time takers pass the exam, which is lower than the nearly 93% who passed last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Cooley Law School, located in Tampa, had about 39% of students pass the exam this year, an increase from the 31% who passed last year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The full press release with the list of applicants from every Florida university that had first-time test takers is attached <a href=\"https:\/\/flcourts-media.flcourts.gov\/content\/download\/2495402\/file\/July%202026%20Law%20School%20Rankings.pdf\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/flcourts-media.flcourts.gov\/content\/download\/2495402\/file\/July%202026%20Law%20School%20Rankings.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WCTV.
